The Ramset RAM-1000 is our number one selling slide gate operator for a reason. Featuring a 1/2 HP continuous duty, direct drive motor, this powerful and reliable workhorse handles slide gates up to 45 ft and 1000 lbs. One of the unique features of the RAM 1000 is it offers the option of either a front, center, or rear installation of the operator. The direct drive motor featured on this gate opener means the motor is mounted directly into the gear reducer, so you'll never have any belts that need replacing. The RAM-1000 is also equipped with a heavy duty worm gear that is lubricated in an oil bath for smooth and whisper quiet operation. Another convenience offered by this gate opener is it has a foot release pedal (able to be locked with a padlock), which allows for easy manual operation of the gate if there is a power outage.
